Airedale follows a successful year with the appointment of a commercial director

Global air conditioning manufacturer Airedale has appointed Mark Viner as commercial director. His appointment follows a successful year for Airedale in which the Leeds-based company reported global sales of £41.8 million which is year on year growth of 12%.

Date: 2 May 2012

Mark joins Airedale from a leading multi-national industrial pump manufacturer where he was European sales manager. He brings to Airedale 25 years of expertise in engineering-based sales in both UK and export markets.

At Airedale he will have responsibility for all UK and international sales and marketing as well as external controls, service and spares - Airedale’s core areas of customer support.

Says Airedale managing director Clive Parkman: “Mark’s appointment adds valuable commercial support to Airedale as we continue to grow and expand the business. His extensive knowledge in setting up new business opportunities in international markets will be of particular benefit as we continue to develop our export sales.”

Airedale exports latest technology air conditioning and chiller systems to more than 50 countries. The company plans to double sales globally in the next four years.
