CWCS ramps up Pearl & Dean contract with complete cloud hosting package

CINEMA ADVERTISING giant Pearl & Dean has stepped up its business relationship with CWCS Managed Hosting, with the addition of cloud hosting to its requirements from the managed hosting expert. CWCS, which already delivers hosting solutions to Pearl & Dean, is now providing a complete Cloud Hosting package to the UK company.

Date: 17 Jul 2012

Pearl & Dean has chosen to outsource its cloud hosting package to CWCS Managed Hosting after a successful working relationship during which CWCS has provided a range of other hosting solutions. The new cloud hosting package is being used to support Pearl & Dean’s immensely successful online presence, a crucial part of the advertiser’s relationship with its customers.

The Pearl & Dean website contains extensive information on advertising opportunities, including details about individual cinema sites for potential customers, seating arrangements and movie release dates. It is a vital tool for the nationwide company to equip investors and advertisers with all the information needed to plan their commercial strategies. The site requires the continual, reliable hosting service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, that CWCS Managed Hosting provides, in order to be effective.

Pearl & Dean’s vote of confidence in CWCS Managed Hosting is the result of a successful contract already established between the two, and the strategic move by CWCS into Cloud Hosting over the last year.

“CWCS has always delivered consistently high standards of hosting service and we have every confidence that they will be able to continue this success in cloud hosting,” said Jane Russell, applications developer at Pearl & Dean. “CWCS is always very approachable and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them and our requests are always met quickly.”

Through its outstanding service and support, including cloud, dedicated and co-location hosting packages, support that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, dedicated account managers, uptime guarantees and two dedicated UK data centres, CWCS has proven its ability to deliver outstanding support to Pearl & Dean and a range of other local, national and international clients.

CWCS Managed Hosting CEO Karl Mendez said: “It has been an excellent working relationship which we’ve nurtured from the start, and now that we have become experts in this new, exciting field of Cloud Hosting, it’s great that Pearl & Dean have put their faith in us.”

CWCS's successful move into Cloud Hosting saw a growth in revenue of 300% between November and April for that part of the business. While in May 2012, CWCS’s excellent reliability and performance were recognised as it was named as the most reliable web hosting company by Netcraft (www.netcraft.com).

The monthly table lists the top global web hosting companies based on performance and reliability and is calculated by using monitoring servers from separate points around the internet. Performance measurements are taken every fifteen minutes and the averages are calculated to create the monthly chart – which was topped in May by CWCS.
